Overview

The A/G Scoreboard is an independent public-data bank monitoring system built from FDIC Call Report data. It separates structural viability (G) from performed-health divergence (MHI) in order to support bank ranking, monitoring, and structural qualification across FDIC-insured institutions.

It is not presented as a deterministic failure predictor and does not replace supervisory or proprietary models.

Current Offerings

Public Dashboard

The public dashboard provides current-quarter A/G Scoreboard outputs across FDIC-insured banks, including summary statistics, ranked Critical and Watch tables, historical trend views, cohort breakdowns, validation highlights, and data provenance.

Public access is for informational, research, and non-commercial use.

Technical Documentation & Validation Materials

The public package includes the Technical Brief and supporting materials covering system construction, claim boundaries, validation logic, and current evidence.

Supporting materials may include audit memos, case notes, anchor sets, operator notes, and benchmark comparisons.

One-Time Custom Package

One-time custom work is available for users who need a scoped output rather than recurring access. Depending on the use case, this may include selected rankings, current-quarter monitoring outputs, supporting charts, and tailored reporting drawn from the scored bank universe and historical ledger.

Recurring Quarterly Delivery

Recurring quarterly delivery is available for users who want ongoing monitoring rather than a one-time snapshot. Depending on scope, this may include ranked monitoring tables, tier migration, trend summaries, and other agreed outputs based on the latest-quarter system state and historical context.

Institutional delivery can include a dual structural feed reporting both canonical Min-G and companion Mean-G, together with documented field definitions and temporal features in the Institutional Delivery Schema & Data Dictionary.

Institutional / Commercial License

Commercial or institutional use of the A/G Scoreboard, its displayed outputs, and any expanded data products requires a commercial license or prior written permission.

Scope depends on intended use, access level, and delivery requirements.

Depending on scope, institutional access may include a dual structural feed reporting both canonical Min-G and companion Mean-G. Min-G remains the bottleneck-sensitive structural diagnostic channel used by the A/G instrument, while Mean-G provides a smoother aggregate structural-condition view for broader summary, comparison, and client-side external tracking.

Delivery format, field definitions, temporal features, and dual-feed structure are specified in the Institutional Delivery Schema & Data Dictionary.

In current-quarter outputs, Mean-G remains above or equal to Min-G and softens most canonical Watch and Critical names into less severe aggregate states, confirming that the two feeds are complementary rather than interchangeable.

Commercial Use Can Include

  • one-time custom packages
  • recurring quarterly deliveries
  • expanded data products
  • bespoke reporting
  • broader institutional or commercial usage rights

Examples of Commercial Use

  • institutional use in risk, trading, lending, or advisory workflows
  • redistribution to clients or internal teams
  • bulk extraction or automated scraping
  • use of recurring deliveries or bespoke reporting for commercial purposes
Boundary marker: scope, permitted use, and pricing depend on requested access level and intended use.

Scope and Claim Boundaries

The A/G Scoreboard is designed as a structural qualification layer.

G
Structural-viability channel
MHI
Divergence channel measuring how much surface performance exceeds structural condition

These channels serve different functions and should not be treated as interchangeable. G is the primary structural-condition channel, while MHI adds a divergence-sensitive ranking and interpretation layer. The system qualifies structural position and surface-over-structure divergence; it does not function as a complete decision engine.

Where institutional delivery includes both Min-G and Mean-G, Min-G remains the canonical bottleneck channel and Mean-G remains the companion aggregate channel; the two should not be treated as interchangeable.

The A/G Scoreboard is not offered as

  • a deterministic failure predictor
  • a supervisory substitute
  • a complete lending, trading, or advisory system

Inquiry Process

For commercial access or scoped work, inquiries should briefly describe:

  • name and organization
  • intended use case
  • whether the need is one-time, recurring, or licensing-related
  • what outputs or materials are of interest
